Caterers:
The main sailing club has an excellent catering service all year round that is run by Stoneground, a small company based in Clifton. They provide a healthy selection of meals and snacks, including a selection of hot rolls for breakfast throughout the summer season.
Lift, Changing Room, and Disabled toilets:
Our new lift to the upper club house was opened on August the 5th 2008, by John Smalley former Commodore of Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club in the presence of Kath Allsop former Chairman of CLADS).
We have a Disabled toilet on both the ground floor and second floor. The ground floor also has an disabled changing room with plenty of space.
Helpers:
The club could not survive without the efforts of our dedicated team of helpers who will be on hand to help wherever possible. We are continually looking for new helpers, both sailiors and land lovers. if you have some time to spare we would love to hear from you.
We operate a rota of helpers, so whether you have just a couple of weekends a year spare or more your help will be appreciated to keep us afloat.
We do not pretend to be able to cope with every kind of disability but will always do our best to help as many people as possible enjoy the challenge and exhilarating feeling of sailing.
If you are unsure whether we can help you or whether the level of support would be enough to meet your needs please contact us: info@clads.co.uk
